Video Postcards

To create a more interactive history of our demo party, we are inviting all attendees, newcomers and old-timers alike, to create a video postcard. A video postcard is a short digitized video clip where you get to tell the demoscene at large about yourself, your interests and so-on.

We will supply the video camera, digitizing setup and software to let you create a professional looking video clip with titles, special effects and so-on. You will look like a pro in no time thanks to Serious Magic's Visual Communicator!

The postcards will be released to the internet along with the competition entries. In cooperation with the organizers of the Assembly 2003 demoparty happening simultaneously in Helsinki, Finland, your video postcard may end up on AssemblyTV! If your postcard is broadcast by AssemblyTV, you will be seen by thousands of demosceners attending that party as well as anyone watching AssemblyTV on Finland cable television. You could be a star!
