Welcoming Reception

The welcoming reception for Pilgrimage will be held at the Urban Lounge, a private club for members, on Thursday September 15th, 2005. This is the big kick off pre-party party! The music begins at 10 PM and goes until 1 AM! The Urban Lounge opens for business around 8:30 PM.

The welcoming reception will feature the musical stylings of:

• 8bitpeoples: Our chiptune friends reappear for our third year, this time with multiple members! In 2003, Nullsleep performed a live 45 minute set at our venue. This year, we'll have three members of 8bitpeoples on board for a heavy duty rocking out to chiptune madness!
• The UnderKnowns: An electrogroove band from Salt Lake City.

The Urban Lounge is a full service bar featuring local microbrews on tap, a decent selection of imported bottled beer as well as mixed drinks. Smoking is allowed inside the club.

A $5 cover charge will be required to attend the Welcoming Reception. This cover charge is not included in the Pilgrimage ticket price.
